Capitalize on the natural fascination young readers have with fantasy! This course will introduce teachers to techniques and strategies for teaching fantasy literature. Participants will select, read, and respond to grade-appropriate fantasy novels and, using this literature, will develop standards based lessons to teach important literary concepts. This course may be completed with or without students. (Grades 3-10)
